Default resume advice

I am moving to Sunshine coast at the start of May. Can anyone please give me advice on the structure of my resume. Will it be the same as my CV ? or do employers prefer something different?

Thanks Andy

Hi there

I would suggest that you prepare a brief one page summary of your skills and personal attributes, followed by work experience, qualifications and other info ie; referees, computer skills etc.
I changed my resume to this format on advice from a friend and have been very successful in getting interviews ever since.
Good luck

I logged onto www.seek.com.au, used their resume format which you can then print or cut n paste into MS Word. Got a job within 5 weeks of being here, not sure what that says about the format but it's worked twice since being here......

Hi Andy! I live on the sunshine coast and got a guy with a company called Resumes for success in Buderim to do it. He is a gem and also helped me with selection criteria and cover letters.. he has a web site under the same name.. worth a look as he has set up some new package that writes the resume for you when you fill in the blanks... hope this helps.
