Just a quick question about renting is oz.

Does the price include water and council rates?

aye.............unless u use red amounts of water then u would pay the extra

And what about the other utilities......is there a choice who you use like in the UK ?

it depends where u r in the country.....we had several providers for fone but only one for power....does pay to shop around

We are renting on a 6 mth term agreement and we have to pay for electric, excess water (if we use loads and loads) and the phone. (oh yes and lawnmowing and lightbulbs (the latter because I am to lazy to mow ½ acre! )

Our rent does not include water (we're on a meter), electricity, gas or phone. Not sure about rates. We're in WA.

And it's about a million times cheaper than the UK.

Is the advertised rental price inflated as they expect you to negotiate? If so what range should you try?
