Get the TNT magazine and you'll find heaps of removal companies.

However, be very very very careful. I have heard far too many reports from people who've had goods damaged. Particularly furniture.

Anything REALLY valuable ... then carry it with you. Also, consider selling your furniture and buying up new in Australia. You may find if you do your sums that it works out cheaper.

Hi

We used 'Whites' the deal came with up to 3 months free storage should it be required, as it turned out we were delayed by 4 months but not charged for the extra month. We used a 40ft container house furniture etc and car all in one.

It is costing us $30 a week for approx. sq metres if that is any help with Crown in Perth. We got them to deliver half of our stuff then keep the rest in storage in order to keep the costs down.

Hope this helps.

Once your goods are cleared by customs, and Quarantine cleared by Aqis, they can then be stored in modules[6cum3]the removal companys can,t store your Household goods[hhg] in containers as these have to be returned to the shippng companies or we get charged dermurage, {$100 aday}every day the container is over its return time. The holding company charges to stow your goods and unstow for delivery the store charges are about $1.20 a cum3[a fullcontaier load 35cum3 works out about $40 a week} your other option is to get your goods delivered to a self storage facility, were you can access them at your leisure, they are slightly cheaper [do a search on google]try and get your UK agent to arrange this as part of their service, thats if they want your contract ............................. mm
