Smile relocation

Hi to all,
hoping to be in Perth with my husband before end of Feb 2008.
I am a nurse and have a job waiting for me when we get there. Hubby been a steelworker for 32 years over here in uk. Hes coming on my 457 visa. Hes worried about not getting a job when he gets out there! Not particularly bothered about what he does, within reason. Can anyone reassure him that he will find something.

Nicky and Malc

If you are willing to work hard then there are heaps of jobs. Like anyone migrating what he is probably worried about is stepping out of his comfort zone. I think we all did that.

Shouldn't have a problem getting a job with a steel background as Perth is hugely focussed on heavy engineering such as mining.

Thanks to you all for reply,

I'm sure Malc will get a job? It is probably a lot to do with stepping out of his comfort zone,as you said. He can always be a house husband for a while!!!!
Not for long though i need him earning a little cash.

Cheers
Nicola and Malc
