Any IT roles beyond PC and hardware support are pretty rare in regional areas, and if you could find one would pay a lot less than in the cities.

I think you're limited to the Murray, Northern Inland, Riverina and Orana areas of NSW for a 489 visa.

Currently on Seek there are 503 jobs with Software Engineer or .NET in the job description for NSW. None of them are located in the areas above. All of them are in Sydney or in the Wollongong-Newcastle corridor.

If in case can you please let me know some good recruitment agencies name/contact, although I am trying to search them on internet, it would be great if you can help me out.

The Newcastle to Wollongong corridor (including Sydney) is where all the software engineer jobs are currently.

However 489 visa holders cannot live or work in this area - it's not classed as regional - so recruitment agencies working in these areas are not going to be of much help to you.

Do a search on Seek - check regional NSW for 'Software Engineer' or .NET and then filter out the Newcastle/Wollongong jobs. You will find there is next to nothing left.
