Hi,

I just received this book from Amazon yesterday, and thoroughly recommend it for it sheers detail the way it seems to cover so much in almost 600 pages.

Book

It's a bit light on plot and character development but it's a must read.

Here are some other recommendations:

Pretty much the same opinion, although I prefer to read a book than read from a screen. Good general advice in there.

Thats sums it up exactly....its a good reference book.
My eyes hurt enough from work even before I come home and begin looking up various Australia stuff on my 14" laptop screen

I bought it too and it's a handy reference. Though I got all the 'big advice' from BE

down under by bill bryson is absolute superb once you get into it you'll be in stitches

Totally agree - a must read for those going to Oz (and not going too, my dad read it and he never reads books, said it was great!)
