Can anyone recommend someone who can build a driveway in the western suburbs of Melbourne please? The majority of those in the yellow pages don't have websites..just phone numbers..and I'm nervous of using someone who hasn't been recommended. Thanks.

Ask for references from people in nearby streets who have used their services and pay them a visit?

Ask the local show homes who they use?

Talk to the council? Town planners I have found to be a fountain of knowledge and unbiased.

At some point you will be taking a gamble even on other peoples recommendations ie business sold on - person had a bad day/week.
