I have a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering which is recognised as a qualification in Australia. Can anyone confirm if a CACHE Diploma in Child Care Level 3 is recognised?

Yes it is - go onto the Queensland Department of Communities website and it has a list of recognised international qualifications.

In order to work in child care you als need a bluecard. The application for this is on the website.

Some employers will also ask for a first aid certificate with CPR. You can do this course with the Red Cross or St Johns ambulance.

There was on over supply of child care workers at the Gold Coast.

Good agencies in Brisbane are Expect a Star, Select and we do it too.
