Reccy in Brissy this Easter
#1
So,
Having been offered work in Adelaide and then in Perth and then thinking of moving to Darwin, we are now off for a reccy in Brisbane on Saturday.
I know we haven't been on here for ages and therefore haven't contributed for a while, but lets face it this isn't about you is it? It's all about US!
So, we haven't a clue about Brisbane. The only thing we know is we will be based near Wynnum (That's where the job is based).
Any hints/tips/advice or general info would, as always, be gratefully recieved
Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you.

I will give you an informative answer.
Wynnum is a great place in my opinion, I lived in Wynnum west for a year.
Very close to the water, good transport, plenty of schools and plenty of shops. Close to the airport. Plenty of parks.
One of the busier suburbs in the bayside area.
New estates and old ones.
The bay area of Wynnum is great for a day out with the kids, if you have any.
I would go so far as to suggest it is probably second to Manly for bayside suburbs to choose to live. It is a great starting point in my opinion.
Good luck.

It's pissing down, it's grey and dark, it's windy, my daughter even considered wearing a jumper to school !!!!!
When I got up at 6am, it was almost dark outside, my 12 year old, after getting up at about 6:30 said to me "Dad, why is dark outside ?" I had to explain about the rain and clouds, and how they sometimes block out the sun etc...
OK, so I may be exaggerating a little, but with everyone else doing it, it's like a cold.... it's contageous
