If I "bang on" about humidity all the time perhaps you would like to point out a few posts where I have even mentioned it,never mind "banged on" about it.
It should be easy for you if there are so many....or did you make that one up?
The only defence I will give Brisbane is that it is better than the other cities I have spent time in....incuding Sydney.
My son lived for quite a while in Mosman and we visited fairly often and I was in North Bondi recently......where I have family.
But, of course, that will not count although your trips to Brisbane will, no doubt.

I don't like the weather anywhere in this country.....I prefer the British weather
Queensland is tolerable in the winter.

I don't particularly like constant sunshine...it ruins the fishing and means that I have to go at night....I also have to avoid the daytime sun as much as possible as I have had a number of skin cancers removed.
As you get older lying on beaches etc. Simply does not appeal...we look forward to dull days so we can cycle and walk properly.
'good' weather is very subjective.

This very true. It is also true we don't know what we want. I think we would have to come for an extended stay in a specific area to see what we really think. I keep thinking about the job in Bermuda too and thinking I'm not sure I could live on an island only 20km long! I spent 8 months in Corsica and found it too small!!

We had a choice of doing a project there, didnt go. Relatives live there, well did till the recent mass redundancies in the public service. They were quite well paid, about 110,000 each for admin jobs, high level but just admin. Bizzare but they were always broke their rent was 600 a week, 2 kids in private school, have no idea where the rest went, you could live nicely on that amount.
Was down there December, have visited about 6 other times. I like it in autumn, its a place that does get seasons. Winter can be -5 at night, bit of frost too.
It struck as as bleak, maybe because it had browned off for summer, it was showery and surprisingly humid. Streets, malls, roads quite empty, not remotely christmassy, except the civic ( city mall ) beautifully decorated.
I love a winter/fall weekend there, usually some gallery or something on, but I could not settle there. But of course like anywhere, many do and would.

That said lying on beaches can be fun for the older folk especially around Sydney harbour. The nudist beaches seem to be very popular with the older generation.
Food for thought.

I love the sunshine! I hear what people are saying about extreme heat and dangers of the sun, but it is nice looking out the window at blue skies - we have so many grey days or days when the weather's really 'wild' and it does affect your mood and well-being definitely.

I'm sorry to hear that. A sunny climate is not the place for you then. Bit like living in Britain if you get bad hayfever.

A whole is high on the list....so why the reference to hay fever
Why would I want to lie on a beach
