Real Life Immigration Stories?
Hi
Been searching online for ages (after a few glasses of wine admittedly!) but I can't find what I'm looking for.
What I really want to read are real stories of those who have already emigrated (just like the one posted earlier which was great - but over a longer period) I remember reading something months ago where a family had a diary online which had been running for a few months but I can't find anything similar now.
Can anyone who hasnt had as much wine as me help me out please?
Thanks
Rachelle

I'm actually supposed to be in work so I'm making the most of throwing a sicky!! Araid I'm suffering from the 'who gives a s**t about my job here - I'm planning a new life!!' - not good really as hubby hasn't got the job yet (hoping for employer sponsorship!)
More wine please!!!

experiences
Hi
I just had a quick look at that web site. It looks great but will have to be filed for reading later. I only came to the 'puter to turn it off and half an hour later I am still reading messages, I must go to bed. This forum is fantastic, but since finding it, I am doing little else!!!!!!

Re: experiences
While searching for Dutch immigration stories (there are't many....), I came across a few British ones. Hmm, ok, most were already on the movingdownunder site.
Well, this is left(not much ):
http://www.hartill.net/Aus/tips.html
This is more observations.
There's also a photo page, and lots of good links.
Mainly Adelaide/SA.
This site: http://www.aussiemove.com/
is created by a British family.
In the cost of living section(under Finance), they talk about there own situation:
