Default Re-training for Oz

I need to decide on a trade and completely retrain to make me eligable to emigrate to Oz.
I know that to get in under skilled migration you need 6 years experience in your field, but the RSMS allows you in with no experience(although i would like to work in the U.K for at least a year to build up a little confidence before making the big step),just wondering what the best option would be trade wise, been thinking on the lines of plumbing or plastering but because of the red tape involved in trade jobs would plastering be the better idea for securing employment under the RSMS?
Also how realistic does this idea sound?I realise that in a short space of time im not going to be the worlds best in whatever trade i choose, but surely if i went out there on a recce and negotiated a wage that reflected my experience i could get lucky, any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated,Cheers
