We are looking for accommodation from the 13th April can anywhere suggest a good motel/hotel/apartment in the above surrounding areas for 2 adults and 2 children if we like the place may stop for 4 - 8 weeks whilst finding a rental.

Have car hire sorted.....is it best to buy new or secondhand.....is it true you pay gst on secondhand? Anyone experienced any downfalls?

If you can think of any areas which are worth a view feel free to mention

Many thanks

Hi Pennyhen, visited Samford 2 days ago, just got here, lovely small place! We are looking for rental as well. Staying in an aparthotel at companys expense for two weeks, but need to set down roots prior to buying! Went to see a place yesterday, in Cashmere, kinda put off by seeing 6 snakes sunning themselves on the roof!!.....gulp!!!!

there is plenty accom around these places, if you come a little further in you will also hit places like Brendale, Strathpine, Kallangur & Mango Hill, where there are also motels, just depends what you are looking for.

As for buying cars, it depends how much brass you have & what kind of car you want, i bought secondhand and everything has been fine so far.
