Default Re-locating to Queensland

Morning all,

just thought i`d introduce myself on her as we are in the process of re locating from Adelaide to Hervey Bay.

Hubby has gone up there today, one way ticket, to sucure a job so we are keeping everything crossed!!!

We have only been in Adeliade for 1 year but when huddy was laid off work last week it sort of brought our plans to move forward.

We have some lovely friends in the bay who he will be staying with and hopefully will find him a job. He is a marine engineer so anyone already up there with any contacts ...........................

So hopefully me 2 kids 14 and 11 oh and the springer Rosie will be following shortly. Just got the house to sell when he finds a job which shouldnt be a problem.

Good luck with OH`s job hunting

Hello Sarah,

cheers for the reply.

Are you coming from the UK? or elsewhere in Oz. We have now put our house on the market in Adeliade. Hubby still hasnt got a deffinate job, so we may as well all be together up there looking rather than me and the kids being here.

Hope you like it as much as we do!!

Regards
Angela

Hi Angela,

We are coming from the UK ( Leicestershire ) We have never been to Hervey Bay before but after a lot of research and talking to people we know that have been there it sounds like the sort of place to bring the kids up in.

Not sure how much work there is up there though for the OH

Did you originate from the UK?

Morning Sarah,

we are both originally from Middlesbrough but lived in Gosport nr Portsmouth for the last 20 years.

I also have a sister in Wigston too.

Just interested, what does your husband do?

Nice part of the world- don't forget to leave time for dolphin feeding when you get there.
