Regarding airfield - I was just thinking of my sister who lives in Lakenheath. She says you get used to the noise but I was not used to hearing those fighter jets. I just about fell out of bed when they flew over at 6 a.m. (could've been 7 a.m.).
I'll try and look into that. Hopefully we'd be like your sister and get used to it. We were both in the RAF for a good few years and dont remember it botherin us too much then, however we are both that little bit older now a far more irritable!!

Hercs, smelly noisy beasts, but hey if they get us a job out in Aus who cares. Still in work Ty but quiet now.

Put Richmond into the the old web browser last night and Richmond school came up. Quiet a few photos of Richmond area on it.......may be worth taking a look

Just got really excited looking at a lovely school and finally realised it was Richmond Primary in flamin' NZ!!! LOL
