Default Quick rundown on townsville suburbs please

Son the sparky might be sent to townsville for work. All the apprentices get sent somewhere outback or out west eventually so he will just have to handle it. Companies offereing a bit of a payrise to pursuade the kids to go.

I was thinking lands a lot cheaper up there than here, might be a chance for him to buy land as he could not afford that down here.

Good suburbs would be ones close to facilities, can you still buy close to beach ( I know you cant swim most of year ) , good sort of areas, decent size land not those tweeny weeny 300 blocks.

Thanks

I haven't got time to search for it now but I remember Rabc did an excellent post on suburbs in Townsville which sums it up perfectly. He's an environmental health officer so gets out and about a lot. It was when I was on my validation trip, which was back in February, if you want to do a search
