Default Question from potential school

I dont understand, hoping someone can shed some light please.

Enrolling lads into school, eldest(although is my middle son) no probs...sorted. Youngest - I have been asked if the PR visa is permanent or sponsored.

Does it make a difference?? we have a permanent residency visa - 139 skilled designated area sponsored.

I havent been asked that by any potential employers or other school for other son.

I think they may be asking if the visa is permanent or temporary (but calling it sponsored) I think you have to pay for public education if on a temp visa.

Hope so. Can't imagine that someone not doing the whole visa milarky will know about all the different types of visa. They would know about Perm or Temp though.

If it's a permanent visa that is all they need to know.
