A question or 2 for the Cairns mob
There is a possibility not sure how strong it is but none the less a possibility that hubby is going to be relocated to Cairns possibibly next year . Any hows im just wondering what the job situation would be for me. I currently work as a HACC coordinator in Aged care /disabilities but have experience of case management (nursing quals no longer valid) would this be something i could find reasonably easy to find work in. Unfortunatly the company i work for dont have offices in QLD or WA otherwise i could transfer internally.
Secondly what is the special needs provision like? I have a 10 year old boy with Aspergers and although Darwin is poor for him at least he has some services available to him.
Hubby has had to put his options in for where he wants to go to next. Melbourne is our preffered choice but he has been warned this may not be possible and there is an opening for him in Cairns if he wants it. so i thought i would try and get some info before he has to make the decision later on next week.
