Queensland Written Driving Test
Has anyone taken it, and if so..is it easy??
I'm running out of time (I must take it before friday) and have very little time to study the road rules book!!
Are the questions multiple choice??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Tanya

Hi Tanya
It's multi choice test, I think about 35 questions. You'll have to go through the sample questions in the book though, i reckon. Good luck!

Do you have to get 100 % correct to pass?

second part is on general driving, you can get 2 wrong out of 20
the test is not difficult, but you do need to know the specifics for driving in Queensland, and things like parking distances may crop up.

Hi Tanya, I suggest you have a go at these online tests. I did them for weeks before i went for my test, and still found that I had to have a stab at a few questions, luckily in my favour.
The first part are "Give Way" questions. If you just keep in mind the "give way to the right rule", you should be ok with these. You are allowed 1 wrong out of 10. The second part is general knowledge and you are allowed 2 wrong out of 20.
If you don't pass the first time, you are allowed to go back the next day. It costs about $16.50 per go.
Good luck

Re: Queensland Written Driving Test
My OH was in the same position last week. She crammed for about 2 hours then took the test.
Test is 2 parts and you're allowed 1 error in part 1 and 2 in part 2.
First part was about right of way, various scenarios, and multi choice answeer on who gives way to whom. Second part was signs, parking distances etc.
She got 100%, and reckons there was nothing to worry about .
Just think through your choices and don't rush because there are a couple of similar answers w
hich are almost right as well as the correct answer.
