It is worth trying but Queensland may have a different policy to New South Wales in the they may only want to employ people on PR visas.

Certainly, email them and ask!

Im probably gonna go for the July induction. Assuming the sale goes smoothly it should give me plenty of time to prepare for the move.

No idea but....looking at their web page I see the recruitment information specifically targeting UK paramedics has gone! Anyone else notice that or is it me!!

yes i noticed that on the qas website. it now says qualified paramedics instead of uk paramedics. maybe they have had enough of us

Just spent 4 weeks on mornington Island in the gulf of carpentaria. Single officer driving a 4x4 troopie along the beaches, fishing while on duty. Sat phone and VF radios so can talk to flying doctors. One para for a 1000 aborigonies, only did 10 jobs over that period. Lots of off road driving and chasing roo's and snakes lol. Oh and lots of money
