Default qantas flyer card

Anyone know if my wife while on a trip to the uk could use my qantas flyer card and will she be able to us it below:

If you are a Bronze or Silver Qantas Club member, you'll continue to use your Qantas Club card to access all the benefits of your Qantas Club membership, including entry to Qantas Lounges across Australia and around the world.

The card is in my name.

No, sorry. The benefits only apply to the cardholder, or in some cases, someone travelling with the cardholder.

Nope, she'd need her own card. For most Lounge benefits, the cardholder needs to be on a Qantas flight too.

Since when did Qantas allow Silver and Bronze card holders to use thr lounge. I thought it was just gold.

There are no benefits with bronze, that just means somebody has joined up. It looks like upon gaining silver a single visit invitation is provided, I think that single ticket can be used by anyone.

Other than that, there are no benefits to speak of with bronze or silver membership and certainly not lounge access. And as others have stated, not transferable anyway.

Given Brian's quote, I took his reference to Qantas flyer card to mean he was talking about Qantas Club, which has different benefits to a frequent flyer card.

Doesn't really matter anyway, as BS says.

One benefit to Silver, when checking in you can by-pass the general admission and go to the business check-in. That said I often find that queue longer than GA.

Not what it says in the program details, it only mentions business class check in from gold.

You can use the Premium Economy lane to check in, which is often the same as Business.
