Default Put a smile on someone's face

Ever had someone's birthday come around & not known what to buy them? What about putting a smile on a childs face (& the birthday persons) & give a gift to a child or family in poverty from them?

World Vision Smiles Catalogue

For just AU$21 you can help protect a child against childhood illnesses by immunisation, AU$27 will buy a blanket for a child living in a bamboo hut in Bangladesh, AU$45 will buy 5 chickens for a family in East Timor, AU$360 will buy a family in India a buffalo ( most of that is postage I think ), AU$170 buys a community toilet in Malawi or AU$9,931 will buy a community a bore to supply clean water.

You can click on the links on the side to choose gifts for a child, family or community.

So many of us focus on money & our own lives & problems, its easy to forget that there are people out there that struggle for even essentials like food & water. Even if you dont sponsor a child, its easy to give a small donation that will make a huge difference.

wanted to give you karma for this but am not allowed

Excellent idea, and reminds us just how petty some of our complaints really are.
