Default Provisional driving licence

Hi

DD is 17 in a few days, we are moving to Qld, should we get her a provisional licence before we go and swap it over there.

i have read that it can be swaped and the 12 months until she can take her test starts from when the UK one is issued. is this correct.....??

anyone had any experience of this...??

thanks everyone..

hello matey,

hope you are ok? yes get her a licence in the uk and you can swap it for a learners licence when you get here

luke had had his provisional in the uk for over a year and they said basically that he could do his test as soon as he wants, no 1 year waiting time, he just had to prove how many hours driving lessons he had done,

hope this helps
