Problems with shipping pets

We are currently trying to get our dog flown out to Aus, but are having some problems with the blood tests. Has another one else experienced similar kind of problems with shipping their pets? :(

Had the same problem even though Lepto part was missed out of our dogs booster (they used water or saline solution instead), he was tested again a week before he was due to fly & levels were found to be the same so he was allowed to fly (only if levels are higher they cant go). Stress levels were high in us, but otherwise all was well.

All the best

Thanks. Thats good to know. Totally agree with the stress thing though- could have cried today when we got the results. Has there been cases where people have not been able to fly out their pet?

I know that you need to have Leptospirosis blood test with negative results within 30 days of export to allow them travel, if they arent negative they will test again & if no worse then they can still travel. We used Airpets & the staff there were excellent.

PM Centurion - he had all sorts of problems with dodgy blood tests on his dog. He's something of an expert on this subject! :(

You're about £15 for Lepto and about £50 each for the others I think.
