private pensions etc.
we have heard that when you receive your pension (private) that australia take a cut in tax. please could anybody tell us what percentage? or is it just savings plans/endowments which were taken out in the uk? surrender values are dreadful so we'd like to keep them going.
we are not sure whether to transfer our pensions to an australian company when we get there. has anyone any experience in these matters?

We went through all this pondering, the only advice I can give is contact Alan Collett on this site and he will give you advice.
