Hello - can anyone recomend a private health care company - the one who's details we were sent seem very expensive???

The cheapest I found (just me & Mrs DUP) was HCF.

Thanks - gives me somewhere to start - my boyfriend has started working (I have not!) and he keeps giving me these little "jobs" to do.

Comparing health insurance companies and policies is a bit of a nightmare as you are not comparing like with like. iSelect comes close by allowing you to select what cover you believe is important to you e.g. dentist cover may be important, but childbirth not.

I would plug in your requirements to the iSelect site, and then try to get direct quotes from MBF and Medibank Private which are not included in the iSelect funds. Anecdotally, HCF seems very popular.
