does anybody work in the print trade in brisbane, if so can you give me any info on the state of the trade over there.
Size of business wages, availability of work etc. by the way i work in pre-press.

I`m a print finisher and have enquired about the trade in Perth and Adelaide and to be honest it seems the whole of the country has a shortage of good tradesmen in printing.
See if you can get hold of WILLIEM he has just moved to Brisbaine and is a 4 colour printer , it looks like he has just found a job and will be able to point you in the right direction.

Have a look www.printnet.com.au and e-mail them about availability of work and they will give you a good idea.
Also they are very useful at getting your CV to potential employers in areas you are looking at settling in.

I've got my first interveiw today, and looking through the local papers, there seems to be quite a few jobs around Brisbane at the moment.
