what happens now??(bearing in mind we dont need packers to pack)
it all fits in my garage(10 feet)
do i ask shippers how much does it cost to diy fill a 10 ft container?
do i ask them to dump a container out side till i fill it?

i have no idea how it works

Hi,

I think you need to get an assessor to quote you accurately on cubic footage. We had all our stuff boxed in a 70 sq.ft storage unit but the assesor said it was 540 cu.ft.

With smaller removals you can get a shared container with someone like PSS. They will take your stuff in a removals lorry and load it into a container with other consignments until it is full (Just hope you don't share with the curry importer;-). We boxed and inventoried all our stuff (100 boxes + furniture) when we put it into storage last October but when the company come around to collect we have now decided to let them repack.

Cheers

Mark
