Pre-Grant Received!
Very exciting - received pre-grant yesterday and sent back the 1022 today - told them I want to get my Visa at the HC in London - does anyone know how long it will take to get the final approval?

Re: Pre-Grant Received!
Thanks
Was that 2 weeks to get the Visa grant letter or 2 weeks for the HC to put the visa in the passport once you'd had the final go-ahead from Adelaide - I'm presuming that once they receive the 1022 they then send out a final grant letter telling me to go to the HC???
I'm completing on my house sale on 29th so would like to be ready to leave for Oz then...

Re: Pre-Grant Received!
Took two weeks to arrive/come back from adelaide.(grant letter telling you where to go and some other details)
As for london, stood in a queue outside for an hour with letter and passports (family buggered off sight seeing ) took a ticket waited 20 minutes to be seen and hey presto lovely little visa stuck in the passport!
If you send it to london with passports can take up to 3 weeks to come back. so get down there with letter and passports and stand in the queue! (make sure you get there at least an hour before the queue goes around the building and they are only open for 2 hours)
