Pre-grant Advice
Hi,
Its been 8 weeks now since we got our pre-grant advice from Adelaide. Does anybody know how long its taking to get the final OK for permanent residency?

dunno...seems a long time doesnt it...
i know someone who filled in from 80 and sent it off and got her pr letter very quickly..quicker than 8 weeks thats for sure

Hi Jane
SNAP!! We are on our 9th week since replying to their pre advice letter. 12 weeks since it arrived!
Does anyone out there know how much longer we will have to wait?

Hi John and Sandra,
Its reassuring to know we're not the only ones in this position. Up until now, everything had been moving along pretty quickly. We applied in March and were told then that current processing time was 50 weeks. Perhaps its the last bit that takes up most of this time.

Our Visa grant letter finally arrived this morning, exactly nine weeks after the pre-grant.
Jim has been asked to work from Oz for his current emplyer for a couple of months after we get there so that's one less thing to worry about.
Brisbane here we come!

P.S. Does anyone with kids live in the Bellbowrie area? Could they recommend any schools?
