Default Practicing for my trip back to the UK

I can't do anything about my tan but I don't want to stand out too much when I go back to the UK next week. So I'm practicing being in the UK by shuffling around the office looking miserable and being rude to all my colleagues.

You could try going out in the 39C heat at lunchtime today and make yourself soaking wet with sweat and pretend you've been out in the pissing rain...
Or you could put a blindfold on at 3:30pm and head outside and pretend its Dark...
Or you could head up the mitchell freeway at 5pm, turn your engine off for 2hrs and pretend your on the M25....

I'm practicing mine by not putting on a false smile.

I'm going home, I'm going home ... I'm going for a month yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol

Can't wait.. first thing I'm going to do is walk along the windswept beaches and cliffs , walk over to the island climb down to the point with my rod , and sigh.

Then I will go to my local pub and look at all the miserable people ... and say shut up you miserable lot stop smiling!! ... be miserable!!! Don't you know it's cold and raining, and people in other places of the UK it makes them melt

went back there feb this year , I nearly didn't come back.

"every time you go away you take a little piece of me away"... la la , la

sorry - I'm all excited!!

People in Britain tell me I sound more Aussie than the Aussie Mrs. My friends and family in Britain are perfectly happy so no need need to pretend I am on Eastenders.

Go into your local supermarket & stand in frozen food isle until you turn blue & start shivering to acclimatise before you arrive in UK.

Enjoy your trip, it ain't all that bad I promise, though best time to come back is defo after April each year and before October.

And I doubt you'll get to see Mr ADHD (Willy Mason) play when the Doggies hit town.

The best way is to stop asking shop staff how they are. Cos they will look at you in amazement.

They will think you are mad back home, in certain places. Sure, if you come from a small Welsh village where everyone knows everyone you may not get that; I'll grant you.
