Been reading forum for some months now. Finally got docs and forms ready to post to Agent in Oz for TRA. Couldn't have done it without great info and advice from previous posts. You can't beat 1st hand knowledge. Any advice on best means of posting? You know how unreliable the post is.

Hiya gerrybhoy,
Do not use Royal Mail. All our photo's and cards which were supporting evidence for our application left our local post office 20.07.04. According to Royal Snail they did make it on the plane to Sydney but as of yet have not turned up. They have now written to post office in Sydney, who have confirmed that they have not had them, who then wrote to our agent just to check that they hadn't received them. The Australian post office under international agreement have been given two months to complete and investigation and hopefully they will turn up then. If they don't Royal Snail have offered us a few stamps and some more photo processing as compensation, the fact that our whole application could be jeopardized because of their f**k up doesn't come into it. Use DHL, we had a small problem with our first package but this was rectified very quickly and have since used them again and will use them again in the future.
