Hi, I was also a postie in the UK, for 2 years before moving here.

If you want to do deliveries here you need to be under 100 kilos because the postie motorbikes are quite small and get broken if used by fatties.

Cool, we used to have so much fun. Loads of scams and the banter whilst we were chucking up our rounds was great, especially in the run up to Christmas.

I could write a book about the 2 years I spent as a postie. Shame the wages were diabolical.

I did get a good payout after a dog tore my scrotum open, but that's another story!

I reckon it must be a fun job in most countries. We certainly have plenty of laughs every day. The characters there would provide plenty of material for a few books. It would have to be one of the last great bastions of 70's type non pc workplace.

I used to work with Monty the Juggler, he would bring in his juggling stuff and keep us all in stitches.
