Positive house update.
We've been over to the house this morning to meet one of the building firms directors.
He was really nice and sincere, they told us it's due to the nature of the brick that the front looks that way and that they could lay it again but they don't think it would look much better.
He's offered to render the whole front of the house for free and also told us not to pay anything until complete and we're happy with it.
He's said he'll get a draughtsman to put the front of the house on a computer and that we can go in there and pick a colour that way.
He's also asked us if we have any other problems to speak to him directly as he's concerned about them keeping their good reputation, he says anything we're not happy about will be done to our satisfaction.
We are happy with the inside and he was pleased abut that, and he didn't disagree once.
So fair play to him he saw what was going on and took it on himself to put it right.

Cool, take the render, on a decent size house a good render job could be worth up to $12,000. Although knowing your luck.....

He's just phoned us again and offered to personally drop of render brochures and he's meeting us Monday to do it with us and buying us lunch.
