Population changes by State

Default Population changes by State

Some population figures I came across, showed the change in each State between 1986 and 2005.

A summary is:

The % figure is the increase in that States Population from 1986 to 2005

52.65% Queensland
47.00% Western Australia
32.47% Northern Territory
25.87% A.C.T Canberra
23.34% New South Wales
21.56% Victoria
11.71% South Australia
09.19% Tasmania

QLD with 52% cant believe it.
I thought it must be Victoria.
I think if the analysis were taken 5 years(2000 - 2005) then the scene might be different, dont you think?

Actually these are the latest available % of total populations over 60 age groups

19% South Australia
18% Tasmania
17% New South Wales
17% Queensland
17% Victoria
15% Western Australia
12% A.C.T. Canberra
? Northern Territory
