Like the pool, what are these solar ring things then, have the blanket and the solar heater on the roof but haven't heard of them before.

They are new from the US. Same as a blanket, but you only cover 70-80% of the pool therefore they are healthier for the water than blankets. They are easy to remove and out back in...the thing i like about them is, if a child was to fall in the magnets allow the rings to seperate, and the child could easily get back to the surface....not the case with a blanket. you also dont need the big reel at the end of ya pool

We had a pool in our rental, on the kids insistance!!! After a couple of weeks the novelty grew off and the buggers didnt use it!!

We now have a 10 seater spa, which we thoroughly enjoy..............much cheaper to run than a pool!!!!!!!!!

We put a pool in and have had it about 6 mths now. The kids were in it every day after school and an awful lot at the weekend - ste loved getting home from a hard days graft and jumping in, then relaxing with a beer in hand too!

As its now winter, its been too cold for us to use it and I bet we've not been in for about 2 months, maybe more, which seems a waste when you still have to run the pump, clean it, balance it etc. Having said all that, we definitely wouldn't be without one for the summer up here as it can be a scorcher.
