Pool Companies in Perth (Northern Suburbs)
From those who live in the Northern Suburbs of perth, and have had a swimming pool installed, can you recommend anybody?
Also, could you say whether you had a concrete pool installed, or a fibre glass one?
Just wondering for future reference,
Thanks

I think just shoparound is the idea. Concrete Vs fibreglass is another argument. Concrete will set you back more, but whether it's worth the xtra cost, I can't really say. Aquatechnics (have the advert on tv with Adam Gilcrest in it) make fibreglass and mould those safety ledges on if you want (good for kids and newbie swimmers).Buying in middle of the year probably get a better deal .

Yes I did think about him, but they only do concrete pools, which may be more than we can afford. Although we do have an odd shaped plot of land which will be like a triangle shape, and a concrete pool might be the only way to go.

Or aye scossie. I've recommended him myself (even though we haven't got a pool yet).....I met him by mistake the other week in the Old Bailey pub in Joondalup. I heard a scottish accent, and saw a polo shirt with 'Aquability pools' I went over to him and blurted out 'you wouldn't be Scossie would you?' Luckily it was him!

I think I gave you a card when I met you in the pub, so if you want to phone me or send me an e-mail I'll do a quote for you. At least then we can get something designed for the shape of your plot.
Cheers... John....

We have bought an off the plan house which won't be ready until August. I have rough plans of the house, and measurements of the strange shape piece of land
I will hopefully be getting better plans soon, so it may be best to wait til then.
I'll try and find your card, and then get in touch nearer the time thanks

Scossie do you know the web address for the shire place that has all the restrictions and laws of what you can and can't do when installing a pool? I.e fencing and distance the pool has to be from walls and boundaries?

The laws are state wide so all shires are the same.
This link has all the pdf files which should tell you all you need to know.

Looked on the website Scossie, and all I can find is stuff about barriers/fences
I think it would be best to just hang on 7 months til the house is finished. Then we can get you over to look at our odd shaped bit of land.
