Any body from the uk living in Brisbane come from kent?

but we're not in Brissie either although we were a couple of weeks ago on Holiday

I'm from an old Kent family although I've never lived there.... my Dad still lives in Rochester, and we almost bought a place in Cliffe Woods with 1/2 acre on town road..... but ended up in Melbourne instead!
My family farmed the whole of the Hundred of Hoo at the turn of the last century.

I'm from Maidstone! Lived in Lower Fant Road area (near Tonbridge Road) before moving to Grove Green (with parents) in about 1986. Was living on Grove Green (not still with my mum LOL!) when we left for Brisbane in 2000.
How long have you been here? And whereabouts are you based in Brisbane?

Hello mandy, we are both from dartford (a bit close) and are living on gold coast now. have regular meets out with other expats if you fancy a beer one night, might be a bit out of your way but if your ever in the area we would love to meet up.
