Default police clearance

hi all,

i'll have to apply for my temp spouse visa soon, and as i've been here for more than 12 months now, i'll need an australian policeclearance.
can i just go to the local policestation and get one, or do i perhaps need a 'federal' clearance?
Its just that i've come across form 1101 today, which is an application for a police clearance, but on a 'federal-level'.

any ideas?

thanks, tanja

Hi Tanja - Form 1101 is the one I used I think.

Page 2 confirms this

I think Tanja is here on a Prospective Spouse visa at present?

Form 1011 is the pne for Aus police checks, as Michelle said, and while we are on the subject of DIMIA forms - Temp Spouse visa people awaiting PR might like to know that if they change their address, or get a new passport, they should inform DIMIA on Form 929. (not one I'd come across before, but i rand them today)
