police checks

police checks
hi all!! well iam at the police checks stage only to find i gotta get police checks form places ive lived in the last 10 years for more than a year, i lived in gran canaria which comes under spain, from 1993-1996 then i lived in germany from 1996-1999 . the spanish one is easy and just gotta fill in form 80 from dimia,
But the german one is a little more difficult can anyone help please?? i also gotta do a uk police check i thought this on its own would be enough as its checked at scotland yard. do i need to do the german one even though we are all in the EU

Sorry mate dont know the answer,
just wanted to say good luck, I,m filling in a ******* skip load of papers too at the moment, police checks just one of them! so can sympathise with your troubles.
