police checks
Hi all
We did our police checks back in Sept (daughter needed one for job) can anyone tell me if they have a sell by date as we have only just sent the application in?

Hi Sally
Not 100% as we still have ours to do next week, but I do have one with my job and I`m sure its one year as mine is due very soon through work. As its only £10 you could have another done when needed just incase.

They are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
When you say your daughter had to get one for her job, do you mean a Data Protection check, or the one done by the CRB? The latter one is not accepted for migration purposes.
