Re: Plymouth/Cornwall meet ups
Hi All!
We are in Peverell, Plymouth and would be keen to meet up. We are a family of 3 - Dave (41), Marion (34) and our son Jonathan (9). We are in the planning process of heading to Adelaide (hopefully in the next 12mths).
Where were you thinking of meeting up?

Re: Plymouth/Cornwall meet ups
Just trying to think where we could meet up??? Perhaps a picnic at "Saltram House" or "Burrator Reseviour" in Dartmoor?
Are any of you Folk going up to the Aussie Immigration Exhibition at the London Olympia in April? We are going - should be informative!
Anyone heading for Adelaide?
Edie - what ages are your children? yep we need to meet up at a family friendly place so that all our children are kept entertained and happy

Re: Plymouth/Cornwall meet ups
hi there devonfamily our children are 14,12,10,6 and they are all very excited about going. We are not sure where we are headed yet either the Gold Coast or Adalaide all really depends on work.
That sounds like a good idea the better weather should be here soon.
We have been to two so I don't think we will go to this one unless any companies we want to talk to attend.

Re: Plymouth/Cornwall meet ups
Hi All,
Well unfortunately we have decided to call it a day with regards to moving to Adelaide
My OH is highly skilled and has degrees, good experience etc and we were told we'd easily get into Australia (this was by the Manager of Hays Recruitement at the London Expo in April and the Manager at the stand representing Southern Australian Gov). The problem is - we just cannot match the points system with "Procurement Manager" or even "Senior Buyer". We keep hitting a brick wall and not getting anywhere with Imm Agents either. So we have opted for our 2nd Option and we're heading to settle in Taunton.
Would have loved to have met up with all of you and I wish you all the best and hope you do get to Aus!
regards
