Just wondering if anyone could give me any advise, been reading posts on plumbers jobs in oz they are not sounding to good at moment. We have our visa issused and have five years to make to move now, my husband has a good job at moment (thank God) here in Engalnd, am I right in thinking to hang fire for the moment before making to move to Perth? My husband has 20yrs experience in plumbering but is a bit weary of moving to move at the moment. Any advise would be great.

There will be plumbers who will be able to answer the q with much more authority but generally the economy seems to be tanking in WA.
I'm not sure that I'd risk moving unless I had a sure-fire permanent job to come to. If you have 5 years, wait 2 - I'm sure things will pick up by then.

When you get here your OH will have to do courses to obtain his plumbing licence over here you maybe know this already.
My OH is a plumber/gasfitter he's still pretty busy just now.
