Not sure, need somewhere with lots of work for hubby and good schools for the kids but other than that we don't know. We have looked at Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide so who knows.

No problem have plenty of blonde moments myself it should work....I've just tried it the site itself www.immi.gov.au has all the info you need and you can download forms for your application too if you still have problems type in the 'search' booklet 6 on that web site and it will take you to it.

hi my husband is a plasterer too, we are looking at going to queensland, just in the process of filling out the TRA at moment, but we cannot decide whether to use an agent, as my husband (Jason) has been self employed for about 6 months and its a little confusing, got a bit of information from people.

Jon my hubby has been plastering for nearly 18 years in total but as he sub-contracts he moves about quite a bit following the work. I know its going to be a nightmare :scared: but I'm sure its the right move for us and the kids. Let me know what you decide to do.

my husband Jason has been plastering for 17 years and is a time served apprentice, we definitely think we will be using an agent though, mainly to check that we are filing in the self declaration properly, dont now if we are putting too much information on or not enough, it quite scary :scared:

Hi,
My husband is a self employed plasterer and we are just in the process of the TRA too. We are using an agent, we went to see them yesterday. It is harder to prove your trade if self employed. I think it is less stressful knowing it is in the hands of people who know exactly what they are doing and we will get the best possible chance rather than doing it on our own. We are planning on Brisbane.

The TRA can be a right pig for 'us' subbies! We opted for an agents help, and it did us no harm
