my son worked with a team for a while in perth..loads of work, most work on self-employed basis. Son thought 250 -300 dollars about right..bloke who runs the team costs the job on metre basis and seems like they make a fortune! the mix is completely different here though..before we came a year ago i did a search on theforum and found some old posts where guys had described the mix..could be worth doing a thread search. course whats really important is what the wages buy here and again I think people have put a fair amount of stuff on here about what things cost so could be worth hunting down some of that too

Was searching www.wages.com.au but their sites down, also www.mycareer.com.au at their wages section.
I am pretty sure in qld, an employed tradie in plastering would be on about 200-300 per day, based on metreage and developer they are working for.

What kinda chippy...
LOL this is Australia...
We have framing carpenters, 1st fix , 2nd fix, etc etc etc... and each job is performed by different tradies. In fact the carpenters apprenticeship, has now been changed, so that those wanting to frame, can study just framing, and similarly for second fixers.
Check this link out, may help
