Hi all,
1. are moorabbin and Doncaster East safe places to live with an aged parent and 3year old female child for a single mother?
2. which is better out of the two?
3. which has better facilities like supermarkets, medical centers, proper transport etc ?

Not an expert on either, but have been to them both. It wouldn't strike me that one was better than the other.

Septic tank seepage from properties in the suburb is one of the major causes of pollution in both the Mullum Mullum and Koonung Creeks.

Septic tank seepage from properties in the suburb is one of the major causes of pollution in both the Mullum Mullum and Koonung Creeks.

Although the original Koori people had a problem with the other Creek that you mentioned.

My problem with Moorabbin and Doncaster personally would be too far away from the CBD... but thats my own personal beef. Never heard of anyone mentioning pollution before in relation to those suburbs.
Wilsons Prom is definitely pollution free Apart from flotsam on the coast.
There is far far more Money in and around Doncaster than Moorabbin....Doncaster is one of the Wealthiest Suburbs in Melbourne.
