Piccies from our whizz around Oz!
Thought I might try to show some of our holiday snaps, just got back last night and can't face reality (like housework, shopping etc) so busy looking through our photos.
We started in Melbourne, so here's a few:

Yippee, that worked.
Right, heres some more, I'm sure no one is that interested but its good post holiday and mid jet lag therapy for me, as I'd love to go back to bed now but must stay awake, yawn, yawn.
After visting Sovereign Hill at Ballarat (which I didn't like much but the kids loved it) we flew to Launceston in Tas and stayed at the old seaport. We had a big storm shortly after arriving but the next day was beautiful. We then drove on to St Helens and went ot the Bay of Fires which was just stunning!

Yeah, we really like Melbourne, it had such a good feel about it. We had lunch in Federation Square on Sunday and it was full of people but still felt relaxed. we walked around in the evening with our 2 children and it again the atmosphere was good. The children loved the flame burners near Crowne Casino, we had a fantastic meal there sat outside watching the burners, which for some odd reason were going off every 30 mins, although the waiters told us, it was normally only every hour.
Enjoy it when you go.

Here's a few more, I could bore you all day with photos.
After a quick wander on the stunning beaches at Bay of Fires we headed down to Freycinet NAtional Park which is my idea of heaven on earth. It was just so beautiful, we satyed at the Freycinet Lodge which was amazing, little cabins all tucked away, wallabies on the balcony and possums jumping on the roof all night! We went sea kayaking which was brilliant, ate and drank too much fantastic food at the lodge, which I cannot recommend enough to anyone going there.
We only walked to the lookout for Wineglass Bay but it was wonderful, also a great time of year to go as it gets very busy in summer.

Right, time for a few more before I finally have to go to sleep. hopefully my sleep clock will adjust quicker now we are at home as I spent the first few days in Oz waking up at 1am and not getting back to sleep for hours!
After a fantastic time at Freycinet we head to Hobart, which after a shaky start we really enjoyed. The Salamanca market was good fun, we went down the Derwent river on a jet boat trip, really exciting and really cold! There was snow on Mt Wellington but generally the weather was bright and cool. We had good fun at the Tahune Air Walk, the kids also enjoyed the Eagle Glide.
