Default Photographs from Ningaloo

I take my family to Exmouth every year, this was our third trip and a great time was had by all. Pictures of some of the fish we saw are available here:

http://sponsored.uwa.edu.au/ningaloo/

The highlight of the trip was when my wife called me to get in the water to join her quickly. When got there I asked what was up, she said "there are 6 sharks circling us!" - cheers love.

Sure enough there were 6 black tip reef sharks circling the bommie we were next to, in just 6 feet of water and only about 20 metres from the shore.

Anyway, I've removed all the pictures of my kids so as no wierdos get hold of them and left the fish ones, so enjoy...

This one's just a taster, click on the link above for the rest.

Ohh, wow! Nice colours!! But really, fish freak me out a bit, well, some of them, don't know why!

That one does look like a stonefish, or it looks dangerous at least!

What's the 'bommie' the sharks were circling?
How big are the reeftip sharks?
Creepy, anyway! Though for some reason I find some of those fish creepier!

A bommie is a coral bombora or outcrop. ne of the sharks was small, 4 were medium and one was bigger than me!

Good results, I need more practice I use a Sony P9 and the pics aren't a patch on yours. I'll have to lash out and buy the external flash kit.
