Re: Phil Down Under - 2010
So.. I've just watched last years Perth one of these and, forgive my ignorance, but I don't understand how people are able to buy a property after being in the Country for one month.
I thought that you had to have Permanent Residency to be able to buy property and I didn't think you could get this within a month of moving over? I must be wrong, as the couple on that show bought a house at the end of it. Can someone please clarify for me? Thanks |

Some of us have Permanent Residency from the onset. :)

Oh! That is interesting... Thanks. I've been working on the basis that I'll have to rent for four years, whilst on a 457 visa!

I herd koalas and the wife paints Uluru red, does that count as "interesting jobs"? ;)

Today they are going to film us seeing our granddaughters. The house search is planned at the start of December. So - see what success your posting on this forum has had. Thank you. Julie and Ian |

Somebody recently told me that Phil's surname is in fact McCavity . . . can anyone confirm this?
p.s. I've tried doing a google search, but with mixed results. |
