Hi, we brought a cat & dog (cost approx £1500) to get them here, on top of that you have quarantine fees (cost approx $1200) in Oz....Time scale, we had to book up 3 months in advance as Perth quarantine station was very busy.

I'm loving the "straight to the point" thing you got going on - we need more of your kind.

We paid £2,250 for 2 staffies to Sydney... You'll get a fair bit less I would think... You'll need to fly them to Sydney for 30 days quarantine at Eastern Creek... You'll also have the vets bills to sort out in the UK... Do a search for various pet shippers... We used Pinehawk Kennels who were very good... There's also Jet Pets for getting them from Sydney to Brisbane...

See also the AQIS site to see what you have to do...

Please get them a rabies jab before you leave it isn't a legal requirement but if you ever want to go back to UK(and you never know) You will have a six month wait or the awful prospect of your dog doing 6 month quarantine.
